• Announcements week of June 23rd, 2010

    • Wednesday Night—Summer Wednesdays start on July 7 with our 1st annual Mudd Olympiad!  We’ll be meeting at the home of Kurt & Nina Johnston (8525 Cherry Hill in Superior Township).  The event starts at 12 and ends at 4pm.  Cost is $10 (free for incoming freshmen).
    • Mission Trip—Only 3 more weeks and we’re off to Atlanta!!  Our next and final meeting is the BBQ at the Hott’s (13441 Glenview in Plymouth) on Tuesday, July 6 from 6-9pm. Remember, all your forms are past due and need to be in!!
    • L.O.F.T. (Learning Our Faith Together) If you’re trying to stay on pace with reading through the Bible in 1 year you’ll want to complete 1 Peter by next Sunday, June 27.  This Sunday we’ll be meeting with the Middle School students at the PCA Media Center.  We start at 9:15 and end at 10:30! Loft will resume in the fall on Sunday, Sept. 12.
    • Seniors—Grad. Party season is upon us…can’t wait to celebrate you!!  Grad. parties this weekend include Ariel Rock (Sat.), Tommy Zylka and Kelsey Lindberg (Sun.). Just a few more parties left to go to!
    • Jet Set—A special thanks to all of our Jet-Set friends that came to our annual summer kickoff yesterday!  It was great to have you at the barn!
    • FYI—Parker Welling & Steve Moakler will be singing this Friday, June 25 in downtown Plymouth’s Kellogg Park at 7pm!!  Come out, support them and have a fun time at this summer’s Free Concerts in the Park series!!
    • Velocity!!  We’ll be leaving this Saturday, June 26 at 10am so arrive early!!  We’ll be returning Thursday, July 1 at 3pm.  All forms and balances were due this past Sunday.  Leaders—we’ll be leaving at 1pm (or earlier if we can) on Friday, June 25.
    • Sand Volleyball League!  Your game this week is at 7:15 and congrats on your victories last week!

  • Announcements for week 5-12-10

    1.      Wednesday Night— This Wednesday, May 12, we’ll continue our last topic for this school year…”Finishing Well!”  Come and join Geoff Ellsworth and the Baptist Bible College team as they host this night!  7-8:30 in the barn.

    2.       Mission Trip— This Saturday, May 15 we have Workday #6.  Be sure to sign up with Larry.  Our next meeting is on Monday. May 17, 7-8:30.

    3.       L.O.F.T. (Learning Our Faith Together) If you’re trying to stay on pace with reading through the Bible in 1 year you’ll want to complete 2 Thessalonians by this Sunday, May 16.  We start at 9:15 and end at 10:30!

    4.       Small groups—Meet from 4:30-6 tonight!

    • Sign up now for WinterJam 2010, Mar. 26 at EMU (3rd Day, Newsboys, 10th Ave. North + so much more)!!  Tickets are only $10!!  We’ll be leaving from the barn at 5pm and returning at 11pm!!
    • L.O.F.T. (Learning Our Faith Together) continues this Sunday, March 28 as we go through the Bible in 1 year.  We’ll be focusing on the book of 1 Corinthians.  We start at 9:15 and end at 10:30. If you’re trying to stay on pace with reading through the Bible in 1 year you’ll want to complete 1 Corinthians by this Sunday. Keep in mind that there will be no LOFT on Easter morning due to the Easter Breakfast!
    • Small groups–all small groups will be gathering at PCA for a combined gym night with food tonight!  We’ll start at 4pm and end at 6:30pm.  Be sure to bring your food item. There are no small groups next week due to Easter.

    • Metro. Easter Outreach!  Join us on Saturday, April 3 for Metro. Life Church’s annual Easter outreach!  We’ll be leaving at 10am and getting back at 7pm.  Bring a few $$ for lunch & dinner.  Sign up in the barn!
    • Mission Trip—We’ll be preparing for the Easter Breakfast at 7am.  Following that will be work days (April 10,17,24)& our next meeting which is Monday, April 19 at 7pm. Be sure to bring your completed mission support letters.

  • Announcements for week 3-1-10

    • Wednesday Night–This Wed., March 3, we continue to build off of the movie “To Save a Life” and what God wants us to do about it!”  We start at 7pm and end at 8:30pm.  This week’s focus:  “How To Save A Life!” Next week (Mar. 10) we’ll be having a special meal for all high school students!!
    • A special thank to those of you who joined us for our special 5th Quarter Band night “PCEP Helps Haiti” benefit concert!  It was a great success and over $1000 was raised to help the Red Cross in Haiti.
    • Mission Trip—We just had our first meeting this past Monday, March 1.  Our next meeting is on Monday, March 15 from 7-8:30.  You can still be a part of this team but you must act now!  Turn in your applications and $50 deposit to Larry or Nancy LaBenne.  Atlanta, July 10-18, $550!!
    • L.O.F.T. (Learning Our Faith Together) continues this Sunday, March 7 as we go through the Bible in 1 year.  We’ll be focusing on the book of Acts.  We start at 9:15 and end at 10:30. If you’re trying to stay on pace with reading through the Bible in 1 year you’ll want to complete Acts 1-12 by Sunday.
    • Small groups will be meeting this Sunday from 4:30-6pm.

  • Unite!

    Hey There!

    On Friday March 5th,in Plymouth’s Cafeteria, from 6:30-9:30pm there is going to be a specail event hosted by Unite.
    Unite is an event hosted by PCEP Bible Club. there will be worship with live music, games, a message, and fellowship.
    Come out for a great message about our personal walk with God, and total devotion to him in our actions, being united with the other Christians for the purpose of honoring God and reaching the lost!

    Admission is free!

    Special Guest is Dan Martin!

  • Announcements for week of 2-15-10

    • Wednesday Night–This Wed., Feb. 17, we continue to build off of the movie “To Save a Life” and what God wants us to do about it!”  We start at 7pm and end at 8:30pm.  This week’s focus:  “Say Something…Do Something!”
    • Thursday Night Dodgeball!  Congrats to our team who is currently 4-2 in league play!  There is no game this Thursday because of mid-winter break!  However, next Thursday, Feb. 25 is the last day of dodgeball!!  Come and route on our team as they compete in the playoffs & championship game starting at 8pm!!
    • Mission Trip applications are out!  We’ll be going to Atlanta, GA and working with the Atlanta Dream Center July 10-18.  Our first meeting will be on Monday, Feb. 22 from 7-8:30pm.  You can bring your applications and $50 deposit to that first meeting.  This meeting is just for students—your parents don’t need to come yet.
    • Join us for a special 5th Quarter Band night as we host the “PCEP Helps Haiti” benefit concert!  It’ll be on Friday, Feb. 26 from 8-11:30 and it will feature the bands PK Fire, Twenty-For-Seven and “Good Luck Varsity!  $$ raised will go to help the Red Cross in Haiti.
