The Barn

• L.O.F.T. (Learning Our Faith Together) meets Sunday mornings in the barn from 9:15-10:30.  This year we’ll be focusing on defending the faith.  We also have prayer groups led by our student leaders! Don’t forget your Bibles & offering please!
• Small groups (Impact) meet Sunday’s from 4-6pm.  Jason & Paige’s group meets from 2-4pm.
• Come and eat with Mark at Salem’s Rock Café!  Wednesday for A, B or C lunch!  All you need to do is have a form filled out (1 for the year) and notify him by email, text or FB if you’d like to eat with him.  Mark cannot meet Wednesday Dec. 14^th!
• Wednesday night— Join us Wednesday December 14^th, 7-8:30 pm as we look at Grace and how to live in it.
• Carols and Cookies. Dec 21^st 6:30-8:30 pm.  We are going to senior citizens homes from our church to spend time with them singing a carol or two and hearing about Christmases past.  Sign up to bring cookies that night.

• Student Leaders—If you desire to lead by example as a servant-leader then we want you to be on this year’s student leadership team!  We meet on the 1^st & 3^rd Wednesdays of the month in the PCA band room from 5:15-6:30.

Movie Night Dec. 11^th 4-7 pm in the Barn!  We are inviting all small groups to the Barn for a special time together.  We will have a Bible Study and then we will hang out with friends and enjoy a holiday movie and some popcorn.  If you are not a part of small groups this is a great time to join up.
• Dec. 16^th GLV is having their annual “ugly Christmas sweater” concert in the Barn.
• Dec. 18^th Our Christmas Party.  5-8:30 pm.  This is a progressive dinner and white elephant gift exchange.  We are progressing through dinner.  We will start with a soup or salad then off to a main course and will conclude our meal with dessert.  We will finish off the evening of fun with a white elephant gift exchange.  Gift needs to be wrapped and valued under $5.
• Dec. 21^st.  Carols and Cookies.   6:30-8:30 pm.  We will be visiting with Senior Citizens from our church to sing carols and deliver cookies.  Sign up to bring Cookies
• The Great Escape!  Dec. 17^th. From 5:30- 11 pm.  Come find our seniors and leaders in disguise at Great Lakes Crossing.  Prizes for the winners and a great time by all.
• New Year’s Eve Eve.  Dec 30-31, 2011.  Cost: $20 plus $$ for concession foods.  We are starting at Crosspointe then we can go to Wayne Bowl, Wayne Rec Center or Crosspointe.  There will be walleyball, ice-skating, broomball, basketball, game rooms and a ton of fun. Celebrate the end of the year with friends from churches on the west side.

• Our 9th Annual Turkey Bowl happens Thanksgiving morning (11/24) at 7am! This will be a great time for all high school students and our high school alumni to play flag football! It will be over by 10am with medals to the champions & your name immortalized forever on our Turkey Bowl Plaque! Sign up tonight if you plan on attending.

• Mission Trip Fundraiser—Help us help you!  For just $5 per car you get rid of your old electronic equipment, computers, and a host of other things.  Guard your identity by having your old computer’s memory shredded by Paul Franz’ company ISR.  All the details are on the flyer.  We’ll be doing this on Sunday right after church at 12:15 until 5pm. Talk to Pastor Larry for more details. Sign up for the 1^st or 2^nd shift (12-2:30 or 2:30-5).
