Announcements for week 3-1-10
- Wednesday Night–This Wed., March 3, we continue to build off of the movie “To Save a Life” and what God wants us to do about it!” We start at 7pm and end at 8:30pm. This week’s focus: “How To Save A Life!” Next week (Mar. 10) we’ll be having a special meal for all high school students!!
- A special thank to those of you who joined us for our special 5th Quarter Band night “PCEP Helps Haiti” benefit concert! It was a great success and over $1000 was raised to help the Red Cross in Haiti.
- Mission Trip—We just had our first meeting this past Monday, March 1. Our next meeting is on Monday, March 15 from 7-8:30. You can still be a part of this team but you must act now! Turn in your applications and $50 deposit to Larry or Nancy LaBenne. Atlanta, July 10-18, $550!!
- L.O.F.T. (Learning Our Faith Together) continues this Sunday, March 7 as we go through the Bible in 1 year. We’ll be focusing on the book of Acts. We start at 9:15 and end at 10:30. If you’re trying to stay on pace with reading through the Bible in 1 year you’ll want to complete Acts 1-12 by Sunday.
- Small groups will be meeting this Sunday from 4:30-6pm.
- Lunch with Larry at the Rock— See you soon at the Rock. Email or text Larry if you want to eat with him at “a” or “b” lunch! The Rock Café is now open!!
- Friday night 5th Quarter—Friday night, March 12, in the barn! Come for a fun “Gender rules” movie night in the barn. The larger gender in attendance chooses the movie!! Doors open at 9:30 and we’re done by 11:45.
- Sign up now for our “Old Italy Dinner!!” Wednesday, March 17 starting at 5:30 (come when you can) and ending at 6:45 (leave when you’d like). Donations only but please sign up so we can prepare accurately. Sign up in the lobby starting this Sunday, March 7 or email Nancy LaBenne at Nancy@cbcjoy.org to make your reservation.
- Sign up now for WinterJam 2010, Mar. 26 at EMU (3rd Day, Newsboys, 10th Ave. North + so much more)!! Tickets are only $10!! We’ll be leaving from the barn at 5pm and returning at 11pm!!
