Announcements for week 4-19-10
- Mission Trip— This Saturday, April 24 we have Workday #3. Be sure to sign up with Larry. If you missed our meeting on Monday be sure to get the updated notes from Larry in the barn.
- L.O.F.T. (Learning Our Faith Together) If you’re trying to stay on pace with reading through the Bible in 1 year you’ll want to complete Philippians by this Sunday, April 25. We start at 9:15 and end at 10:30!
- Small groups—Small groups meet from 4:30-6pm.
- Lunch with Larry at the Rock— Be sure to text or let me know that you’ll be coming! “A” lunch at 10:26 and “B” lunch at 11:26.
- Wednesday Night— This Wednesday, April 21, we’ll be continuing our new series on “Love, Sex & Dating!” This Wednesday’s focus will be “Sex—What a girl/guy wants.” Jason Dear & Paige Morton will be our guest presenters. 7-8:30pm in the barn!
- 5th Quarter Band Night—Come join us this Friday, April 24 for “Hope is Clear” which will be a benefit concert to help get clean drinking water in Africa! 7-11:30pm and the bands include “Serein,” “Twenty for Seven” and more!! $$ raised will provide wells & water in Africa!
- Get your brochure and get signed up for this year’s Pilgrimage!! Canoeing and backpacking in the beautiful Algonquin wilderness in Canada! July 30 – Aug. 7. $50 saves you a space & the total cost for the week, everything included, is $350. Talk to Joe Debone for more information or details.
- Live Worship Recording—Sign up so we can help Ekklesia next Saturday, May 1 with their live DVD recording session! We leave from the barn at 5:15 and get back, after a bonfire & food, at 10pm at the barn!
- Vision Quest—Our next meeting is on Sunday, May 2, 12:15-2pm in the barn for lunch, $3-$5. See you there!
- Parents—Please come and join us for our quarterly parents meeting on Sunday, May 16, 6:30-7:30 in the barn. Summer dates, trip info. and more will be covered. We especially want to invite our incoming freshmen parents!
- Help—3 leaders needed—We are looking for 3 adults to help us for 2 summer trips…our mission outreach (July 10-18) and our summer canoeing/backpacking trip (July 31-Aug. 7) called “Pilgrimage.” If you think you might be interested please call Larry at 734-748-6125 for more details and information.
